Get started easily
Getting started with an Imagery practice for health and wellness can be done very easily. One of the greatest features of this type of advanced meditation is that you only need to invest short amounts of time. Most people will notice significant results in as few as three short sessions.
The first thing to do is sign up for free and get a hold of our first five exercises. There is an exercise for each day of the week. These are designed to work in natural rhythm with the ebb and flow of our daily lives. You will experience an uplift and sense of peaceful control of your days once you have started. To start, each day you will spend no more than ten minutes experiencing and practicing the sessions.
Make yourself a priority
It is common today with our busy lives and responsibilities to put ourselves last. We are at the bottom of a list that includes, our careers, kids, running a household, managing employees, finances and others. We hear all the time that there is barely anything left. We get it, and there is a simple answer. Pencil yourself in on your calendar. There is something magical about writing things down that makes them real. Write on your calendar a 10-minute block of time each day where you will spend time on you. If your back to back double up on your bathroom breaks or a part of lunch. Anyone can spend 10 minutes on themselves to make massive positive changes. Once you have yourself scheduled, treat the appointment just like you would with your boss, your banker, your dentist or whomever you show up for on time. Don’t short yourself and it will pay off. These ten minutes will shift your day and create a basis for change wherever you are focused. If you want to be ready for surgery, then this time will be focused on recovery and preparing your body. If you have a big presentation, then this time will be spent perfecting your vibe and confidence. Imagery is a powerful tool for working with your body and emotions because unlike other forms of meditation it involves all your senses and can activate you just like real life experiences.
Keep notes
“You can manage what you don’t measure.” If you haven’t heard this one, well now you have, so use this methodology to track your progress. Spend 2 minutes after each session to write down some notes about your thoughts, images and feelings during the session. Most Imagery Connection sessions mention this at the end of the sessions so it will be easy to remember. As you keep notes, you will notice a change in how comfortable you are when in an induced zone-like state where you can envision or experience your optimal results, feelings, and sensations. These perfect outcomes will begin to manifest in your life. One of the most powerful aspects of imagery is the ability to tap your creative being inside. When you open a clear line of communication to this part of you, new insights, possibilities and solutions previously unnoticed become apparent. Whatever they are related to, your health, emotions, business, relationships or physical performance. Whatever your goals are, you don’t have to believe, you simply have to trust that you are capable and contain what you need to succeed. Often this is simply a matter of finding it. By keeping a record, the merit of any scepticism can be measured, and you can focus on results instead of instincts. Our logs and worksheet PDFs make it easy to measure results so you can manage things going forward.
